Inspired by the best season of the year, this free Fall quilt sampler is comprised of nine autumn-theme quilt blocks. Each block is 20″ x 20″ and the difficulty ranges from beginner to intermediate, but don’t worry! This sampler is a great skill builder and these blocks are an excellent opportunity to expand your quilting talents! The blocks can be pieced together to create a 60″ x 60″ quilt top or used individually to make throw pillows, tote bags… the possibilities are endless!

Week One
Seeing Plaid by Sew Joyful Studio
I have the honor of kicking off the Sweater Weather Sampler 2023! The block I’ve designed for the sampler is called “Seeing Plaid”, and it’s the perfect beginner block to start off this quilt!
In Minnesota, as soon as the season changes, the entire world is decked out in plaid flannels! When I see plaid, I immediately think of that cozy feeling I get during my favorite season of the year!
Take a look at this video for a few tips I have for you as you head into Week One of the sampler!
